Description
The Shaving horse is a perfect aid for fastening projects and being able to work with them properly. The shaving horses are not made by us, but by a skilled craftsman in Bjursås, Dalarna. The shaving horses are available in two sizes. It is pinewood in the framework and birch in the parts that are most used.
Small
- From 3 to 12 years of age
- Sitting height: 34 cm
- Length: 95 cm
Large
- From 10 years and up
- Sitting height: 54 cm
- Length: 125 cm
On the smaller shaving horse there is also a Velcro strap underneath, to help with fastening, for our youngest carving enthusiasts.
You can order the Shaving horse either mounted or unmounted. Unmounted basically means that the legs are not fastened, so there will be a assembly manual attached.
OBS: The shipping fee for shaving horses will be higher due to their size:
- Small: 700-800 SEK (both for mounted and unmounted)
- Large, mounted: 1500-1700 SEK
- Large, unmounted: 800-900 SEK
The prices depend on where you live in Sweden.
Delivered only within Sweden. Shipping will always be added. Not possible to pick up in Bjursås where it is made, not at us in Avesta either. It is always shipped directy from the manufacturer. The manufacturing time varies.
If you put the Shaving horse in your cart and choose “Pick up at our workshop” as a shipping option, you will still have to pay for shipping according to the description above. And the shipping fee that will shown in shopping cart is not right. We will send the information about the shipping fee in an email after the order.
