Our wood turning tools are only made for cutting, not scraping. They are designed according to old, Swedish wood turning tradition.
We make our Turning chisels in two different shapes:
- Skew chisel, suits good for hollow outer curvatures and at flat turning.
- Pointed chisel, is used for sharper outer curvatures, like coves.
If you want to hone your turning chisels, you can use a polishing disc of wool along with some polishing wax, or a slipstone with 8000 grit. And as always with sharpening and honing: practice makes perfect.
