Our Engraving knife “oblique shape” and Engraving knife “knife shape” are similar, but different. The knife shaped model has an edge on one of the long sides of the blade, like a knife. These tools are specially designed for horn engraving. They can be used with the special knife point technique. Our engraving knifes are quite wide and got a thick enough blade to keep tham stabile while working. When engraving you usually only use the tip of the blade and cut away from you. When working in wood with the engraving knives you can make deep and beautiful cuts.
Both engraving knives have got bevels on both sides. They work well both when sculpting, engraving and chip carving. Also when making deeper cuts.
