Svante has forged some very practical tools to get started with your carving and want to split a large piece of wood. A real faithful servant – the sledge. And its companion – the wedge.
Like Svantes grandfather used to say: “Don’t hit the axe with the sledge, use a wedge!”
So here we are, with a classic looking sledge in a nice size with beautiful looks, and a wedge to start your work with.
The weight of the sledge is 2 kg, including the handle.
The weight of the wedge is about 0,5 kg (475 g). Length about 12 cm, width about 4 cm, thickness about 2 cm at the top.
